Hello subscribers,

this week’s Member Report is about a deep dive into the fertilizer sector - one, if not the most important sector right now when it comes to grain prices.

Here is why, how, and which fertilizer prices influence prices and how we as investors can participate from it.

Why fertilizers are so important

Fertilizers are probably the single most factor when it comes to farming. If we wouldn’t have any fertilizers - we most likely would have a food crisis around the corner. Why? Because fertilizer massively increases the yield per harvested acre. With time we learned to use more and more fertilizer and attach it to the planting process in the right way to increase the yield per acre. These charts sum it up pretty well.
